Nalia, Goddess of the Wild
Legends speak of a fierce young woman that thrived off of nature; a woman that could speak to animals, insects, and even the trees. These legends tell of Nalia, Goddess of the Wild.
“Many, many years ago, when the world was still young, humanoids were the omega of all other races. There existed giant beetles that could topple mountains, lions as big as boulders, and spider nests that expanded forest length in every direction. It is during this time that Nalia thrived, uniting humanoids together into nomadic tribes in order to increase survival and move around the wilderness. Other than her cunning intelligence and fierce reflexes, Nalia had an uncanny ability to communicate with animals. She could convince almost any animal to allow humans into their territories for foraging and food. Rumor has it that Nalia never killed an animal unless it were to be consumed, and that she cried for every one that fell to her spear. For the duration of her life, Nalia led the first nomadic humanoids into the first settlements and villages. Upon her death, it is said the force of life willed her spirit into the Aether, where she roams free among divine beasts and legendary creatures. One thing is certain: If legends prove to be true, then Nalia continues the hunt to this day, ever sharpening her skills within the wild.”
“Many believe we should fight and dominate the wilderness. I disagree. Life is complex, and we must work together to become strong.” -Nalia
